Holy Basil

Ocimum tenuiflorum, commonly known as holy basil, tulasi or tulsi, is an aromatic perennial plant in the family Lamiaceae. It is native to the Indian subcontinent and widespread as a cultivated plant throughout the Southeast Asian tropics.
From the leaves to the seed, holy basil is considered a tonic for the body, mind, and spirit. it has a great value in Hindu religion.

We plant this  plant basil during the Harisayani ekadashi nurture it and organize the marriage ceremony of the plant during next ekadashi called Haribodhani ekadashi!
We believe this plant to be the incarnation of Lord Vishnu one of the three major deities of Hindu!
This plant is believed to give the largest amount of oxygen and has huge medical value so it's plantation is no bad for anyone!It is use in medicine to cure heart disease,asthma,cold, kidney stone,lung disorder etc!
