International Youth Day 2019: Transforming Education

Hello everyone ! I joined the tunza eco generation few months back and this platform has changed the way I look at our planet, our environment and society.  The Tunza Eco Generation has opened my eyes to various environmental problems and their potential damage. The best part about this platform is that it allows me to share my ideas and helps me extend environmental awareness to the world.  As a 13 year old I have learnt a lot as a part of the tunza eco generation.  This is why I felt that it was time I shared this to my family members and grandparents

It is summer vacation in UAE and I have spend my holidays in India with my dear and near, traveling, spending quality time with family.

This vacation in the month of August, I introduced my grandparents and family members to Tunza Eco generation.  I told them that Tunza Eco generation is a dynamic social networking platform offering a range of possibilities for engaging children, their chaperones, and youth and sports organizations in order to advance their awareness, role and commitment in environmental conservation and protection.  They were very much interested to hear that this community engaged the youth to spread environmental awareness.  They were fascinated to hear that they Tunza Eco Generation holds various events and activities for the youth every month.  They told me that this was a very good initiative and I was part of it.

We were driving through south India recently and we came across this beautiful road/avenue. See how the roads have given shade and beauty to this place.  (Pic you can see Our family)

As a 13 year old, I also take part in environmental awareness campaigns like beach clean- ups , YouTube video uploading, writing articles, recyclothons.  These help spread and extend environmental awareness to the community and the world.

Apart from environmental awareness I believe that education transforms a society.

I visited a south Indian tea plantation village and I happened to visit this rural child care center which take care of tea estate workers children. I spend some time with children, while their teacher was teaching them. (Pic you can see a 5 year old girl being introduced to counting and writing) rural school india

Children nowadays are more addicted to gadgets. I am a passionate Rubik¡¯s speed cuber. I took class to children in my town and taught them to solve Rubik¡¯s cube. (Pic you can see me taking Rubiks cube class).
