![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What happens when plant intrude the buildings? If tall trees start growing from the wall of building, initially it does no harm; gradually these roots grows vigorously so does shoots and finally they interrupt the buildings and we can¡¯t get rid of them so easily by uprooting. That¡¯s why, the suitable place for plants is land or pots or let¡¯s say in their own natural habitat. It¡¯s about ficus bengalensis which is called as ¡®Bar¡¯ in Nepali and has great religious importance. It was growing in the wall of our hostel building. Many people has sight on it yet no one has taken step to uproot it because some people religion restrict them from uprooting the ficus plant and some people were totally negligent about it. In this regard, I talked with hostel warden for an area to plant it and prepared it and planted it successfully. There were some more people who were very interested towards it and helped entirely and they were EcoHimani from Tunza EcoGeneration itself and miss Pallavi Adhikari. Now, ficus is safe and is growing it it¡¯s natural habitat. |
