Measures to Save the Environment

There is a need for concerted attempts to address the worldwide environmental crisis. Thus comes into play the concept of sustainable development. Some of the measures that can be taken to regulate the ongoing crisis include:

Waste management: There is a need for careful management of solid waste in urban regions. By converting it into compost, rural waste has the potential to be used as natural manure.

Water management: Rainwater harvesting and water preservation can assist with water scarcity's long-term powerful issue.
Forest Conservation: At the expense of deforestation, increased industrialization has come. The result of cutting trees is that there is a significant impact on the ecology. Measures for forestation need to be taken and regulations for forest conservation need to be enforced seriously.

Control of pollution: air, water, noise, soil are some of todays main types of pollution that plague the environment. It is possible to set up pollution control boards or to enforce regulatory standards to maintain pollution at the smallest concentrations.

Social awareness: The problem of environmental degradation can not be addressed until individuals are made aware of the gravity of the situation. Awareness-raising through campaigns and movements can assist to avoid the continuing environmental crisis issue.
