![]() Water How long do you sustain your life without water? You can handle your life more than 3 weeks without food, but the same case followed by water? Nope even one weeks is enough to take your life from body without water.That estimate would certainly be shorter in difficult conditions, like broiling heat. Most essential product what the nature provided us without any cost. But, haven't remained priceless too long; now established as money generating business for human. They are taking advantages of people weakness, spreading the threats of unhygienic, dirty, microbes content, toxic element contamination and source of disease. We are much more concious about health, can't take risk for it. Being obligated we are consuming their so called pure & hygienic water and promoting their unfilthy business. Water resources status Nepal is no more 2nd richest country in water resources. In fact that position belong to Russia. Nepal is in 41st position. Nepal isn¡¯t 2nd richest country in water resource neither in Asia nor in South-Asia. Even India, China, Bangladesh have more water resources in comparison to Nepal. In capital, Kathmandu- Lalitpur; condition is even worse. Waiting hours to get a bucket water if lucky, otherwise all source of tap left dry. People says, "if water would only come for one hour in five day's it would be great." They have to buy water from tankers for drinking, however it is n't easier to afford for poor peoples. Water shortage is creating a problem, pump water smells bad, and unsafe for drinking. Well water; organic content is high and unsafe level of minerals, color is brownish yellow. Beyond capital, the problem of arsenic water in terai region, that covers about 20 districts where 29% of tube wells have arsenic concentrations exceeding the WHO standard (10 g/L) with approximately 0.5 million people at risk of consuming water with an arsenic concentration > 50 mg/L. In hilly region, source of water is dry, no availability for irrigation, making low agricultural productivity. Solution to end water scarcity
