I had successfully conducted an online campaign on “Small Act Great Impact”. This campaign was won by Supradeepti Bhandari and she was awarded with the Tunza Pen drive. On winning she said, “As an environment science this Campaign is a very effective way for us the youth who are trying their best from their level working towards environment conservation. I am very happy to be the winner of this campaign. As far as my experience and leadership lessons, I was applying my skills for creating an impact on my society. I am so grateful to Kushal Naharki, Regional Ambassador of Tunza EcoGeneration for providing such an opportunity and respecting what I been able to do to my society and encouraging me to do more and participate in more events. I am hopeful that these small acts are helpful to raise our voice and inspire others to work from their level making a change in their community in environment sector. I am looking forward to work with eco generation in future.”

Taking this online initiative to the local level, As a Regional Ambassador of Tunza EcoGeneration I have conducted an “Small Act Great Impact” among the women group of Vyas- 12, Kamalbari, Tanahun. The Campaign was conducted to around 50 women of the community explaining about the small act they can do in their daily lives to bring a great impact in the environment.

They were also explained about the impacts of climate change and use of pesticides. Our small acts have great impact on the environment. Awaring the participants about it, I presented on the waste management techniques they can follow, 3-R Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, Sustainable Use of the Available Sources, Turning off water tap and electricity when not in use, use bag instead of plastic, afforestation and many more. Program was also also attended by the mayor of the municipality and he too appreciated the concept.

After the program was successfully complicated, beginning the positive impact of the campaign, the president of the women group planted a tree as an initiation of the plantation campaign. I am glad that I could conduct the campaign on both online and offline stage awaring people of different age group about the environment to bring the positive change in the society. Together we can bring the change.
