For this June term, I decided to share about the book which I have read and written by Myanmar Environmentalist. That book is named " Water from the sky and forest on the land". In this book, he wrote many articles about the weakness of Myanmar environmental law and the real condition of citizen affected by the climate change, the relationship between water and forest, and then the cultural effect on the environment such as Myanmar water festival, forest and energy, forest and river, and then the published numbers of forested land and freshwater resources left on the earth according to FAO, and then environmental proverbs which alarm the people the environment is really in need of our human's care. Although that book is distributed in 2016 but it still alive today's year. The author name is " Ko Yin Hla " and his writing art is really amazing for the reader who interested a lot in Myanmar's environment condition. Although the content structure is not go to the detail, all are really effective key points and it really showed my country's current stage. He stated our Myanmar's forest condition according to FAO, he said, Myanmar, third most forest degraded country and as the number, from 600000 Acre of forest land to 120,000 Acre annually. Demand is more than the nature capacity and the main reason is due to urbanization, shifting cultivation and economically forest harvesting. We have to stop the people who are doing this kind of action and if we made, we have to consider the another economic opportunities for them to take care of their livelihood condition. In Myanmar, governance system is very delay and the author mentioned the fact that people are not close their mouth as they used to before. This time is democracy and we want to know how the government is performing for their welfare and how they plan after they exploit the resources inside of the region and if the government did not do any regional welfare. And then, the author concluded like " the nature gave us the precious gift for our nation and we, human destroyed it with our greediness and selfish".
