Lamjung Model United Nations 2019, the fourth iteration of Lamjung MUN was organized by Youth Thinkers’ Society- Lamjung, with US Embassy, Youth Thinkers’ Society and Obifert as supporting partners and Hotel Gateway Himalayan resort as hospitality partner. The 3 day event was held in Lamjung from 26-28th June, 2019 with the participation of 65 youths from all 7 provinces of Nepal with a major objective of youth empowerment in the field of Sustainable Development Goals on three different agendas, “Non- proliferation of weapons of mass destruction”, “Reducing food loss, waste and promoting healthy diets for nutrient sensitive and efficient food system”, and “Eliminate violence against women and girls in public and private, including sexual and other exploitation” in three different committees United Nations Security Council, World Food Programme and United Nations Women respectively followed by Hiking to Lamjung Darbar and Homestay at Kaulepani as post conference event.    

I worked as Secretary General of the event. As Secretary General of Lamjung MUN 2019 and Regional Ambassador to Tunza EcoGeneration, I utilized this event as a platform for the promotion of Tunza EcoGeneration. As it was youth event, with the aim to aware youths about the platform of Tunza EcoGeneration and aware them environmentaaly, Tunza Souvenir were provided to the participants. The Tunza Pencils, Pen, Sticky Notepad, Rural and Leaflet were provided to the participants along with the stationary for the event.

Youths were highly interested to join this amazing platform knowing about it and were highly motivated towards keeping their environment clean and green.
