Bio-diversity is a term for biological diversity. It is an all-inclusive word that contains all ecosystems, species and genetics. Our planet Earth delights us with endless creations and each and every one of those creations play their own roles so that we can all coexist. The structure of the ecosystem is like that of a pyramid. Taking one element out of this setup affects all of the rest.

At the top of the pyramid predators are found followed by carnivores and then herbivores then at the bottom are producers.  Producers are the reason for the very existence of the pyramid. Producers are plants like Trees. Trees take up to 30% of the earth’s land. They contribute to the bio-diversity of the earth in a major way as they accommodate inhabitants under them and all around them. They are at the bottom of the pyramid that resembles the ecosystem. For a structure to be at the bottom means that that structure is what makes or breaks the whole structure. Trees as produces decide the future of bio-diversity that will exist on planet earth. As a part of the bottom group, trees are responsible for making and sustaining all the energy required to run the whole pyramid of ecosystem.
