Do you know? May 1 is mark for International Labour Day. It is also known as the International Worker’s Day. It is celebrated on international level to promote and encourage the international labour associations.  History and Origin of Labour Day

International Labour Day is celebrated to finish the struggle as well as to promote the requirement of eight-hour work day. In earlier days, the working condition of the laborer was very pathetic and working hours was 10 to 16 hour a day even in the poor and unsafe conditions. Deaths, injuries and other harmful happenings of the workers were very common at the workplace during the 1860’s. Hence, owing this facts many workers had demand eight-hours of working time per day and which was successfully amended in May.

It is celebrated yearly in 1^st may as an official holiday all over the world to celebrate it.Many of enjoy celebrating the Labour Day by arranging many related programs and hosting the parties. People often celebrate it with written banner and flag in a group in many public places.
