I decided to do something random : capture my meal decisions and how and where i buy most of my food from. After i cooked i sorted out waste and reused it. Banana and Cucumber pills i used for facial remedies, Butter nut seeds i dried and fried to eat as a snack.. The rest of the kitchen waste i decided to dry and use as manure. Many are the times people just buy any random thing that comes to mind minus considering production and extraction processes. Which shouldn't be the case. Careful thought should be given prior to shopping. One must first list money available for use and later list nutritional contents so as to guide in food selection. Furthermore, one must identify an area where everything can be located so as to save on time and also transport costs which will in turn lead to reduction in pollution ( from car emissions). It is advisable to buy locally grown products because they are fresher, safer, cheaper and readily available . Furthermore, this will help in providing employment to locals, boost countries economy and help alleviate poverty.
