   Last Monday, a group of students from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) visited the largest landfill site in Bangladesh. The size of this landfill is 72 acre & there are 4 platform. This landfill is designed in 2007 & it will be filled up by this year. Students visied the whole landfill site & learnt about the formation of gas & leachate practically. it was undoubtedly a great experience for the branches of young minds. Bio-gas is produced from this landfill site & it is used in various purpose. There is a treatment plant as well in this landfill site & that helps to purify the leachate & converted them into safe water.
