Can we still remain dumb on observing dumping site?

by Asmita Gaire | 29-03-2019 01:17

High hills, clear sky, productive land, clean ground, birds song in green trees and fresh incessant water; even listening to it, there's warmth in heart. But I fear it may remain only in words and memories. I fear the day when coming generation won't believe us.

The fear for today and tomorrow is clearly visible. It pricked me on seeing the sight that I captured in photo. What do you think that green part of the photo? It mimics as if it's ground. I wish if it were true fresh clean ground. But it's eutrophication, my dear freinds. In addition to this, what do you think the heap behind; with stone hearted I have to say it's a huge dumping site in the side of river and jungle.

This site is Paklihawa in Nepal that borders Nepal and India.

I believe this in no way is a legal act, isn't it?
Human civilization, hospitals, university; everything is nearby it. This is extremely affecting every sectors. It has contaminated the flowing water, has provided negative impacts in aquatic plants and animals. In addition to this, it has largely affected nearby forest as well. Productivity is declining. Animals, plants and birds habitat have been negatively affected.

People have been reporting to government for the management of dumping site. But the pace was too slow. Now the pressure is from all the sides because people are no more dumb from onwards and the work is supposed to operate in fast speed.
