World Water Day

Sustainable Development Goal No. 6 focuses on Water. World Water Day is celebrated on 22th March Globally. World Water Day is an annual UN observance day that highlights the importance of freshwater. The day is used to advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. World Water Day is celebrated around the world with a variety of events. It is a mean of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. This World Water Day, 22nd March, is about tackling the water crisis by addressing the reasons why so many people are being left behind.

 

On the occasion of Holi on 20th March, Nyca lamjung organised water marathon being based on 22nd March (World water day). This program was celebrating "world water day" to teach the importance of fresh water with theme ' LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND '.Event Photo 1Event Photo 2Event Photo 3

This 22nd march on the occasion of "World Water Day " NYCA Lamjung organized ¡°Post Card Drawing Competition" with the same theme ' LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND '. The rules for the participants were

1)Draw post card of size more than A3 size .

2)Post card should describe importance of water .

3) Post card should relate the the theme "Leaving No One Behind ".

Ms Anju Basyal has been declared as the winner of the competition.
