Climate

Climate is the statistics of weather over long periods of time. It is measured by assessing the patterns of variation in temperature humidity , atmospheric pressure, wind, precipitation, atmospheric particle count and other meteorological variables in a given region over long periods of time.

Climate Change

The climate change phenomenon refers to seasonal changes over a long period with respect to the growing accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Tackling this phenomenon is of utmost importance given the pivotal role that climate plays in the formation of natural ecosystems and the human economies and civilizations on which they are based.

Every people in hilly and Himalayan region of Nepal are in high risk. Nepal is more vulnerable than many countries to climate change because of factors such as high poverty and low adaptive capacity.
