Climate change in the world

by Yoba Alenga | 19-03-2019 06:54

Concept

Climate change, also known as global warming, makes reference to change of the climatic parameters (temperature, precipitations,) to earth surface. This change follows the use by the humans of fossil fuels that rejects carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases to greenhouse effect. Gases are going to trap the heat in the atmosphere, with serious consequences on ecosystems such high sea levels, droughts, high temperatures¡¦.

What are the causes of climate change?

The main reason of the climate change is the use of fossil fuels as coal and petroleum. Human activities as agriculture, deforestation (lands use changing) contribute to the proliferation of greenhouse gases, which cause the change of the climate.

What are the consequences of the climate change

Effects of climate change on human living are numerous, for example:

  • The increase of temperature to the surface of the globe

  • Strong storms and hurricanes

  • Increase of the risk of drought, fires and floodings

  • Increase of level of seas

  • Emergence of the some illnesses.
