WHY IS THE EARTH GETTING HOTTER?

by Rafa Mohammed Ashique | 07-03-2019 19:11

Climate change is the gradual change of the earth climate.

CO2, methane, CFC¡¯s, phosgene and, carbon monoxide just to name a few of the gasses that cause climate change

climate change is caused by the largescale release of CO2 a so-called greenhouse gas, as a side effect of many industrial processes and the majority of power production processes, such as burning Coal, hydrocarbon gases to power their homes, cars, planes, and factories.

Human activity is adding so much extra carbon dioxide to the atmosphere that causes climate change.

Man-made climate change is having such an effect on the world's plants and animals that a quarter of all species could die out in years. Some scientists suggest that Australia could lose more than half of its types of butterflies by 2050.

The rise in global temperature will cause more than some hot summers.

Climate change can cause

  • The melting of glaciers and ice caps which will result in an increase of the sea level. Low lying and coastal areas will result in a flood.
  • An increase in the unpredictability of extreme weather.
  • Longer dry seasons and droughts will wipe out crops.leading to starvation.

The decade of 2001-2010 was the warmest ever recorded worldwide.

Climate change and its effects will only lessen if human beings alternate energy sources such as solar power, reducing the carbon footprint.
