CULTURE ECOLODY MUSEUMS IN TAIWAN

by Elizaveta Zaretskaya | 13-02-2019 20:05

Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my 12th report related to CULTURE ECOLODY MUSEUMS IN TAIWAN.

The theme for our report is about 'Regional or national environment that is so iconic to introduce to others though it is not well known internationally'. In my last report, I wrote that my family and I went to the city of Hualien which is located on the east coast of Taiwan on the Pacific Ocean. This is the area where aboriginal Amis peoples live. It was a very interesting journey. We visited many beautiful and interesting places.

And I noticed a very interesting thing about Taiwan. Almost in every small town, village you can find some museum or center, which tells us about the nature and ecology of the region. I think it is very important for education, and for me this national environment that is so iconic! In a small village near Hualien we also visited the Culture Ecology Museum which introduced us to marine life, with different types of shells.

I believe that these museums develop core values -

1)    Excellent Science Education Profession.

2)    Innovative Science Education Research.

3)    Popular Science Education Service.

4) Sustainable Science Education Development.

Their Mission –

1)    Being a second science education classroom for junior high and high school students.

2)    Being the lifelong learning institute for the public.

3)    Meeting the needs of all age groups with the aim of attracting the entire population to learn about ecology, have fun with it, and ultimately fall in love with it.

 Thank you for your attention.
