How does this family produce almost no trash in six months?

by Sachin Regmi | 09-02-2019 00:12

I was scrolling through my YouTube feed last night. I came across this amazing video where the entire family of 4 people produced only a small can full of waste in a span of six month.

Let me explain the video for you, Title of the video is " This family lives zero-waste ". The video is uploaded by BuzzFeedVideo and had already been watched more than 6 million times. The total video is 4 minutes long. The family lives in sacraemeno, CA and call themselves as the forcella yolks.

The secret behind their less waste is they shop at the farmers market and do not use plastic bags or packaging while shopping. They also explain that the can full was not all of their trash but instead was non-recycable, non-degradable waste the family was producing. They have three different dirstbins- One for their food trash which are to be converted to compost, second one for paper waste and third one for cans which can be reused.

You Can watch the whole video by yourself on youtube-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67yX1C4gaDA
