![]() I feel glad to create a platform for bringing the hidden eco talents, creativity and ideas of Youths and Children in my online campaign ¡°Small Act Great Impact¡±. Both youths and children have send their creative ideas, creativity and works that has great impact towards our environment. As I am coming to the conclusion of the campaign, I will write a next report about the small acts that came during the campaign to aware people about environment along with the winner of the campaign who will be awarded with Tunza USB as the prize along with Certificate. All the participants have received the online certificate to reduce carbon emission. This is not an end to the campaign. I will still be sharing the creativity and small acts and great impacts on environment to aware people. Aashik Adhikari from Pokhara studying in grade 10 has sent a photo saying The beauty lying in the green bushes doesn't lie in the desolated ground. The reason for the destruction is not the human beings but is their cruel activity. "Sustain the life, sustain the beauty by protecting the environment." A youth from Kathmandu Niruta Shrestha, a undergraduate student has sent a story on the topic ¡° To the things I¡¯ve been avoiding¡± explaining the future due to plastic pollution. She says : To the things I¡¯ve been avoiding It was December 2027 that I woke up in a strange place, not knowing how I got up; my head pounding, vision blurred, surrounded by constant beeping of machine, which insight made me want to scream. Looked here, looked there but not even a single person to talk to, humanoid version governing the rule, out breaking the law forced everyone to exude from their self truth. Newsflash! A humanoid out of no where dragged me to a deep dark room. It was cold, perpetually blanketed with darkness and immense, where nightmarish creatures skitters and flit far from sunlit world which were familiar. It was all blamed on me and had to pay for my deed. To the thirteen-year-old me, it was an immense nervous break down. To the thirteen-year-old me, it was like a world coming to a crash. Wrenching down all the hopes, shredding down to tears, to the thirteen-year-old me, it was scary. It was a textbook scary. A series of thoughts reeled, all the doing till date, but still seemed to be delusional. After awhile someone came, sat near me, all wounded, deep scar on the side of the chin, teary eyes, told he was being punished for not protecting those which should have been cherished, not promoting those beautifying aspects, letting the destructor to create chaos even more, seizing the natural beauty and outgrowing the disaster even more and more. But, what about me who ignored the chocolate wrapper & didn¡¯t kept it in the bin. I would say that I¡¯m sorry as if it was all on me as if it was all my(Human) fault . A sudden harsh woke up 3 am 5th June, 2018 People have different creativity related to Eco but they arenot able to bring up until they find a platfrom to express themselves. As a Tunza EcoGeneration Regional Ambassador of Nepal, I feel glad to bring up a platform where both youth and children can share their idea, creativity and activities of their small act contributing to the great impact in the society and environment protection along with awaring people with these activities online. Would like every member to take a step of your own to help conserve our nature. As a small ripple together, that brings the storm and small acts together that brings the change. Green Cheers 😊 😊 |
