Akagera National Park

Akagera National Park is located in the eastern-northern Rwanda. The park was named after the river that cross the border between Rwanda and Tanzania. It is one of few Savannah reserve which is able to shelter various wildlife species across Africa.

The park has a beautiful lake called "Ihema" with spectacular view of  surrounding mountains, and biodiversity. One of the most exciting activity to do while camping is fishing as well as traveling the lake. You will also enjoy an amazing sky view when sun set with various Savannah birds species.

The park is also one of the largest game drive place where you can drive more than two hours without seeing a car, and you experience amazing wildlife scenarios including the games of lions and crocodiles with antelopes. On rarely, you may also see leopards, and other predators. 

There are variety places across the park to watch an amazing scheme of landscapes. The park also is a homeland of different vegetation species including tall, and small Savannah trees, and more geological features that are very attractive.
