This year's world environment day which was commemorated under the theme Beat plastic pollution, focused on solutions to plastic pollution. This was such a timely theme given that rate at which mankind depends on plastics products and the effects these plastic have on the ecosystem.

In commemorating the world Environment day, i organization a short workshop on the 3rd of June 2023 im partnership with Green Space Academy in bamenda, Cameroon. This workshop which i facilitate started at 9:00am and was focused on the solution to plastic pollution. Looking at the statistics of the plastic pollution such a the production of more than 400 million tonnes of plastics per year of which more than half is designed to be used only once, with less than half been recycled, i brought to the attention of the participating the importance of probably managing plastic pollution using the waste management pyramid which range from prevention been the most favorable to disposal the least favorable with options like ; reduce, reuse, recycle, and recover energy in between. The workshop ended at 12:00 noon with advocacy massage written for social media campaign for the 5 of June.

On the same day, i Co facilitated a session at the ongoing Transformational leadership fellowship organised by Dreams to Reality Transformers on Eco peace. Using the example of the situation in the movie Aquaman, i focus on the relationship man have with other organism both Terrestrial and Aquatic and the importance of maintain this relationship which will only be possible is we probably manage our plastic.
