![]() For my second report I would like to put out events that will be conducted within the Platform so as to bring forth awareness to all the members within the Platform. I'd like to put up online questionnaires whereby people will be asked to voice their opinion about concerning events within the environment. Main topics that I¡¯ll be covering are the biodiversity aspects that are happening in countries such as Peru and Brazil, South Africa, Nepal, India and Indonesia. These countries have been the hotspot for vulnerable species and their decline. Each month I will be releasing a special article called ¡®#LetUsTalk¡¯ where I will be enticing my members to give their opinion of varied events and situations happening around the world throughout this year. To make this an interactive and positive feedback experience throughout the year, I will be greatly encouraging all those with topics that they believe should be talked about in the Platform. My plan for this year is to also do Outreach promotional campaigns for the Platform in schools that are not as privileged and as resourceful as the schools that are here in the Central Business District (CBD). One thing that I have noticed is that schools here in the CBD do not accept any voluntary work from ambassadors or people bringing in campaigns, whether you have booked before the time or whether you have spoken to the person of authority. So this year, I will be conducting my promotional campaigns in line with my work (called the 2020 Vision: this is a plan that has been conducted by the Department of Water and Sanitation in their previous development strategy to. bring out or implement children and youth opportunities such as competitions conferences and workshops so as to empower them to meet the deadline in 2020) as to ensure the promotion of the Platform is integrated with my work. In this year 2019 I would like to start a chain of encouragement, a chain of empowerment and a chain of youth uprising that can bring forth change in the surrounding environment. Make your 2019 your 20-mine-teen, for it starts with you and me. |
