Real world of greenery, Ghandruk

by Asmita Gaire | 23-01-2019 19:55

It feels great pleasure on seeing the place untouched by plastic pollution. This is the place called Ghandruk; little bit at a height of 2020 metre and at a distance of 15.5 miles from Pokhara, the fascinating city but victimized by plastic pollution. Ghandruk, in the lap of Himalayas Annapurna and Machhapuchhre is blessed to enjoy the fresh and natural beauty being far away from all sorts of materialistic goods. During my latest visit to Ghandruk, I felt as if the real world of greenery do exist. I imagined the place where we are living would have been like Ghandruk if the plastics weren¡¯t evolved and got their dominancy over environment. Taking the opportunity of my trip to Ghandruk, some paper pens and rulers

received from Tunza Eco generation Regional Ambassadors, I shared these materials among students. All children were happy and excited to see the model of rulers with beautiful designs as if the ruler is targeted especially for children. The blushing and enormous smile of children in front of shining Himalayas, oh gracious! This is the real happiness; I believe.
