On the 30th of november, 2018, a team from the Green Empowerment network, Ghana (GEN) was at Imam Khomeini junior high school to hold a workshop on good environmental and sanitation practices.

This workshop is in line with the mission of GEN to empower the younger generation environmentally.

As part of the workshop, the students where made to design placards containing environmental messages which will inform people to be mindful of the damages caused to the environment.

There was also a presentation by some team members, Amadu Iddrisu and Emmanuel Marfo, on good environmental practices and waste segregation.
