![]() Climate change¡¯s impacts are extended over many generations whereas the increase of global population threatens the environmental degradation which goes along with high energy consumption. Therefore, there is a need to enforce environmental policies, and the present generation¡¯s actions will have a strong influence on the welfare and endowment of future generations. The environmental policy scope includes but not limited to those of climate change mainly to place a limit on the quantity of carbon emitted by certain parts of the economy, waste policy to regulate the quantity of waste disposal both landfill and within the oceans, and land conservation for farmers to take up environmental land management measures over and above compliance measures required by the established regulatory policy. The aspects of water regulation including hydrological flows fluctuations causing floods and storms, pollution filtering, waste sink within the oceans and soil, soil retention and provision as the result of floods and erosions, energy using products labelling, and vehicle standards needs special attention and consideration when delegating environmental policies. Infrastructures had been identified for reducing environmental risks by facilitating a shift towards environmentally sustainable growth. This influence the extent to which the economy responds to the environmental factors. Electrical vehicles, rail ways, highways, water ways, and buildings including schools, and hospitals are all essential parts of the environmental risk management. The issue of climate change brings challenges and opportunities with it. Actually environmental policy makers and the overseeing organizations have those responsibilities of warning people on the potential environmental events in a way that awaken them to take advantage of the opportunities these changes bring, by providing information on the likely impacts of future climate events. |
