Celebration of One Health Day

After becoming an ambassador of Tunza Eco Generation, my first article was about ONE HEALTH, According to WHO 'One Health' is an approach to designing and implementing programs, policies, legislation and research in which multiple sectors communicate and work together to achieve better public health outcome.

One Health is "the collaborative effort of multiple disciplines – working locally, nationally and globally – to attain optimal health for people, animals and the environment".

November 3 is celebrated a one health day across the globe, one health Nepal, Paklihawa celebrated one health day by organizing A speech Competition.

As a part of awareness campaign on One Health Day 2018, One Health Nepal Paklihawa organized a speech competition among the students of Viddya Bikash English Boarding School, Bharatpur Chitwan. The competition was conducted among the selected 20 students on the topic “Relation of Festival and Animals". Students were judged by a team of jury and top 3 were selected as :-

1st:- Rajan Lamichhane

 2nd:- Lochana Rijal

3rd:- Alisha Sapkota

 All the participants were provided with the certificate of appreciation and the position holder with a gift hamper and certificate. We would like to thank Ms.Asmita Gaire, Ms.Archana Panta, Viddya Bikash English Boarding School Family, all the participants and all other helping hands.
