Specialists of Kazgidromet note that high levels of pollution on nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide, suspended particles of PM, phenol and ammonia are caused by three main factors: road congestion, dispersion of emissions from industrial plants and low ventilation settlements.
