Youth and Government drive Sustainability

by Rohan Kapur | 10-10-2018 20:31

Hello Fellow Ambassadors!

In today newspaper I noticed an interesting article written by the UAE minister of Climate Change and Environment, Mr. Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, it was titled How Youth and Government drive Sustainability.

It was aptly written by an eminent person at an important & responsible position. Mr. Thani remarked that youth play a pivotal role in making our mother earth greener. They are more receptive to change, have better communication skills and they adopt new perspectives easily.

The determination of 21st century youth holds no bounds and their inquisitive approach leads them to chase sustainability in a better manner. While all the sections of society have a definite role to play and in fact, all are contributing as well but the contribution and efforts of youth have been hailed by many governmental organisations world over.

In this regard, the role played by our beloved Tunza Eco-generation and its vibrant team is worthy of applauds. They have successfully brought together a solid team of 60 global ambassadors who are all eco-champs in their regions. They are all vibrant, excited, responsible and green warriors who are always ready to go an extra mile in order to make our Mother Earth a greener place.

I am sharing the link of the article that appeared in today?s edition of our national newspaper Gulf News. Fellow ambassadors! Please do read the entire article and see the determination of UAE government to achieve the sustainability targets in the years to come and how they value the youth of today
