16 September - international day for the protection of the ozone layer. The motto ?f the international day for the protection of the ozone layer were the words: "Save the sky: protect yourself-protect the ozone layer." How much do we know about the ozone layer? And how true is this knowledge? Without the Sun life on our planet would be impossible. It is a fact. However the Sun, as and the fire, can not only give light and warmly, but inflict irreparable harm. Under the influence of ultraviolet solar radiation and the electrostatic field of the Earth, ozone is formed in the high layers of the atmosphere, which then forms the ozone layer. It's a shield to protect all life. ?o the surface of the planet comes only a small part of the hard ultraviolet radiation, harmful to the human body. In the second half of the twentieth century scientists discovered that the ozone layer had lost its integrity. For the first time the so-called "ozone hole" was discovered over Antarctica. In 1984, George Farman, a member of the British Antarctic expedition, noted a 40% decrease in stratospheric ozone concentration over Halley Bay station in Antarctica. When refining data from the Nimbus satellite (USA) , it was found that the reduction of ozone concentration over Antarctica has been going on for 10 years. However to this day scientists around the world have not agreed on an understanding of the causes of the destruction of the ozone "shield". But unless it is possible, without understanding the true reasons of a problem, to eliminate it? In the mid-1980s, American scientists made public the fact that a number of widely used chemicals (chlorofluorocarbons) were extremely dangerous to the ozone layer, causing its destruction. In 1987 more than 70 countries, including Russia, have signed the Montreal Protocol on substances that deplete the ozone layer. But, decades later, this hypothesis was not confirmed. According to recent reports of the intergovernmental panel on climate, the lifetime of ozone-hazardous gases in the atmosphere is not thousands of years, but only two years. Soviet physicists this question was carefully studied in the middle of the XX century. And that refutes man-made freon hypothesis of destruction of the ozonosphere. Igor Mazurin - Russian physicist, author of the most energy-efficient and safe hladon R510, developed specifically for the space station "Peace" states: "The Hypothesis, which has not been confirmed for 30 years and has not given any results should definitely be recognized as a mistake." There are other hypotheses about the causes of the destruction of the ozone layer. Among them the most popular are the following: 1. The theory that ozone is destroyed as a result of the launch of the spacecraft. But ozone holes-a sharp decrease in the concentration of ozone molecules in one place, they then appear, then disappear. And until now, no one can say exactly what causes the destruction of this layer. 2. Theory about the influence of solar flares. Solar flares can affect the state of the ozone layer, their action "discharges" ozone molecules, and holes are formed. Over time, they also naturally decrease. As we can see, there are theories, but none of them has yet become generally accepted. In my article, I would like to call on all scientists in the world to join forces to find the true causes of the formation of ozone "holes" and the means to solve this serious problem. Together we can do more!
