The restoration process involves dealing with some of most complex networks in the universe. But this complexity doesn't matter as these networks are operated in  spontaneous dynamics bythe laws of nature which aim at optimal sustainance of every element of the system. So all we need to do is induce this spontaneous process by altering the most interactive and unaltered ed static (in space) element of the system,the flora such that this disturbance results in a conservative reorganisation of the system at optimal rate .The systems biological approach serves as a perfect tool for this purpose.
