I am really confused

by Razan Abakar | 22-08-2018 05:22

I choose to follow my father steps and studying geology, his specialization was Artesian wells, and now I have a Bachelor degree (with honor) in Geology, but until this moment I really don?t know what specialization I want to choose. It?s an enigma for me.

Most of you know that there are many fields in geology but I got involved in only 3

I started with an internship in Oil and gas sector it must be 1 year program and due to many reasons I only spent 2 months, I volunteered in water and sanitation about a year ago, I took extra courses in geological engineering, and I was selected for training program in the ministry of minerals but unfortunately it overlapped with my final examinations.

The petroleum industry is considered one of the most important sources of air pollution, which started from the gas emissions resulting from the oil exploration and production processes, the leakage during the transfer process and its distribution to the oil refineries, which in turn plays an important role in the emission of the most serious greenhouse gases and finally emissions that result from the consumption of oil and natural gas derivatives.

And I really do not need to mention the pollution from mining processes

In another hand, there is water sector, between the two I mentioned above its very interesting field, besides it doesn?t cause any environment pollinations

There are based gender employment, especially in water and mining and oil sector it is the most suitable for the females.

Back to my days on campus, field trips and laboratories were the only interesting parts in studying earth science.

So depending on what I said, does anyone have a suggestion on what specialization I must choose in my career? I really struggling with choosing.
