We all know what causes global warming. They are fossil fuels, lack of education about this issue, lack of awareness, and more. However, not many people know the essential problem that started all this stuff. The main core issue that we have to deal with is ?human ignorance.? We have responsibilities to do a lot of things. We have responsibilities to clean our own rooms, to take care of our pets or plants, to do homework, and etc. Also, we are responsible of the earth. We cannot be responsible for our actions if we ignore our mistakes. Global warming is happening because we have gone too far of doing what is good for us only. We have ignored the Earth, which has suffered because of our thoughtless development. We were supposed to restore the environment after we have used it but still, we are destroying it every day. It is as if you messed up your room and haven?t cleaned it at all, for the past 188 years.

Yes, it is 188 years. It seems impossible but that is how long that the Earth has been warming up, according to recent reports from scientists. That is also how long we have been irresponsible to the Earth. We might be able to forgive ourselves a couple of years at the beginning of global warming since we didn?t know what this was back then. However, we cannot ignore the fact that even though we knew that fossil fuels are the biggest reasons of global warming, we have not stopped using it. It is true that it is hard to break the habit of using fossil fuels but it is also an excuse to let us feel okay about using them. We can try to change our life style and invest more money in this issue. However, some countries don?t even try to do so and even try to avoid from it. Since we have harmed the Earth for the past 188 years, it is now our turn to be responsible for our own behavior. We should raise people?s awareness about this issue, make laws to prevent factories from burning too much fossil fuel, plant more trees, help people use more public transportation, and more! Let?s start reversing this human-made disaster.
