Every year environment day is celebrated on June 5. This year World Environment Day was celebrated with the theme ?Beat Plastic Pollution? If you can?t refuse it, refuse it.

On the occasion of World Environment Day Youth Thinkers? Society Lamjung collected the pictures of the plastic being reused at houses of Sundarbazar, Lamjung. During the process of collection of photos we encouraged people to reuse plastic and refuse it if it can?t be refused. We also awarded Tunza bag for encouraging people to use ecofriendly bags rather than plastic bags. We also had ?Poster Exhibition? to discourage the use of plastic. The poster showed the harm caused by plastic to aquatic life as well as to earth. We also had written slogans along with pictures to encourage people to reduce the use of plastic and reuse it.
