![]() April Month was met with a lot of hard work! I would like to start by giving my deepest apologies to Eco-Generation, mentors for my absence during the April month. During that time I was attending an Induction Program hosted by the Department of Water and Sanitation. Unfortunately, the venue was in a secluded place where little to no reception was present, hence I could post for the April month. But I will do is share my experience at the induction program. The last day of the Induction Program, picture was taken with our Supervisor Mrs. Susan Andrews We were 42 students from various universities. Most of them were Engineering majors and a few were Science majors. The month long induction period included, panning ahead financially, getting registered as a professional scientists, first aid (or CPR), getting to know how the government public sector works and also work on out presentation skills. Presentation day with Mr. We got to learn that serving in the public sector holds great responsibly and if you do not safeguard it well enough, it may raise dire implications to the citizens of the country. From left to right: Calvin, Moketsi, Earnest and I at the Roodeplaat dam. I am ( and with the rest of the 41 students) are stationed around the country serving in their respective fields, I serve as a Geohydrologist: Graduate trainee within the Geohydrology division. A few of my fellow classmates and I. From left to right: Fifi, prudence and I. It really was a great experience for all of was and an eye opening experience which has made me think differently and helped me see the connecting between the people, our water resources and and the laws that protect them both.
