Everest International Model United Nation, aimed at engaging, educating and empowering the youth around the world was organized by Youth Thinkers? Society and American Embassy between May 6 to May 11 at Park Village Restaurant, Kathmandu. The conference in involved 200 youths from 15 countries.

Addressing prevalent problems with a collaborative like-minded has become imperative for securing sustainable development goals. EIMUN 2018 is missioned to become the perfect space for astounding ideas to be put forward. There were UNSC, IMF, UNHRC, UN WOMEN, UNDP committee to discuss on youth, peace and security, effective mechanism of use of digital payment platform and corruption, promotion of gender equality, youth unemployment, women in decision making roles in politics, eradicate poverty in developing countries in order to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.

I was representing Somalia in IMF committee. I also explained about the environmental platform Tunza Eco Generation to the youths in the program from the different committee. Youths were very interested in knowing about the platform and were interested in joining the platform. I also provided Tunza pens, sticky note pad and scale to increase their enthusiasm in joining the Tunza Eco Generation Platform.
