Hi everyone! My name is Lisa Zaretskaya. I would like to draw your attention to my fourth report related to PAPER MADE FROM STONE.

How to save trees? Imagine being able to make paper – without cutting down a single tree. Well, a Taiwanese company ImSTONE has invested $50m in developing a way of doing just that. It makes paper from stone. The company has patents in more than 40 countries where its products are sold. The paper, made from the ?leftovers" of marble mining, has the advantage of being water-resistant and durable.

 Paper-making process:

1)    to grind stone into stone powder

2)    to pelletize

3)    paper making

4)    cutting

The company will continue its journey to improve the paper making technology. Stone paper making process is produced with earth in mind.  To protect the nature and sustain the environment, they have done a lot of research, testing, and experiment in order to honor the idea of being eco-friendly manufacturer. They make a lot of stone products such as paper bags, notebooks, lamps, maps, door hanger and so on.
