Pupils from Primary Lower level in our hometown are given a small board and chalks as typical material for studying. Me inclusive hated this policy though I was in grade 7 thinking  it as embarrassing. "have a dad failed to buy a 40-Rwandan francs book ?" every kid I bet asked his/her.

Before implementing the policy the school had piles of paper, papers including writing practices, answer sheets etc.. that depositing them also became a secondary problem. In action they burned them in the school yard; account for smog occurrence in school, land degradation and unproductivity of these 10 acres of land.

Limiting the use of paper in our workplace is not something to be ashamed of. We might be able to access easily papers but under the wide range papers due evolve from tree cutting. Under the recoil of the simple utilization of few sheet of papers every week  we claim ? i need to visit countryside because of its refreshing air from trees.

I currently study in Gashora girls academy (high school in Rwanda), the school where papers serve crucial role in studying up to the extent every student is  obliged to bring 500 sheets-ream of A4 papers in addition to exercise books. It is unexpected that there are no piles of papers or treatment plants. Under the program launched by school Model United Nations club, which I am in, the volunteer students collect the papers and then send them the trust industries ltd present in our district which successfully recycle them into toilet papers, rolls etc?

There is no where on the earth where we can say I will not cut down a tree for use of course, all what matter is this: are we using in a safe way?

It okay if you can not resist using paper in your certain livelihood; you can think of recycling it effectively.

It is okay if you are unable to stop cutting down trees; reforestation can help.

The population encroachment had taken away green environment, but it is not done anyway in cities. We can secure green spot in case of even an acre of land while planting a tree in there.
