by Kushal Naharki | 17-04-2018 18:41

Around the world, we use 1 million tons of paper every day and 93% of paper comes from trees alone. Paper also accounts major portion of the municipal solid waste. The pulp and paper industry is the third largest consumer of energy and uses more water to produce than any other industry and is one of the world?s major greenhouse gas emitters.
Producing one ton of paper requires 2-3 times its weight in trees.Making paper from recycled content rather than virgin fiber creates 74 percent less water pollution. Reducing the use of paper also saves money. So, we need to save trees by reducing the use of paper. Too much of paper usage is wasteful and unnecessary and puts huge paper on the environment. Some of the ways to reduce the use of paper and save trees are:
1.School campaigns can be conducted to aware school children awaring them about importance of reducing the use of papers.
2.We need to thick before we print.
3.We can use electronic media like emails instead of using papers.
4.Recycling of the papers help to reduce the wastes being produced and reduces the demand of tree for making papers.
5.Let?s use both side of paper for printing.Let?s reduce the use of paper and ?save trees?
