End Wastage Today

by Alesandra Ibobo | 03-03-2018 04:36

Wastes are substances that are of no further use to us after purchase and usage. These can be in liquid form, solid, industrial, household and are bagged, canned, packet etc.
After these items are being used what comes in mind? Disposal
Are we properly disposing these items?

According to The world counts, every year we dump a massive 2.12 billion tons of waste...Some of which are recycled but a lot is simply dumped, causing problems for people and the environment.

Illegal disposal or dumping of waste products are harmful to our environment. Instead of properly disposing them in our trash can, waste bins for further reuse, most people avoid financial responsibility of properly disposing them and result in dumping them in abandon properties, isolated lands etc
Our waste should be carefully sorted out (paper, plastic, metals) in form of recyclables and non recyclables.

Causes of dumping includes:
Air pollution
Water pollution and endangering of aquatic species
Top soil being destroyed and deforestation
Others includes:
Migration
Global warming

Waste products like beverage cans, plastic/pet bottles, wire, steel from food cans, tyre, glass bottles, paper, polythene bags are not completely unusable as most people think, it can be recycled and used for other purpose like making furniture's, art pieces, bags and shoes. The art of recycling waste is profitable and productive. It helps save time, money, energy and human resources. It also help preserve our natural resources and teaches us a skill.
