The Thorium Car

I had previously posted about a car that runs on salt water. If you haven't come across you can read about it here:

https://tunza.eco-generation.org/ambassadorReportView.jsp?viewID=10919

And if you haven?t yet been amazed by the water-powered engine, this vehicle is sure to blow your brains and make you think twice about the alternative forms of transportation which will one day rule the road.

The new Thorium car, created by a company called Laser Power Systems, is completely emission-free, turbine-free, and is electricity generated. It?s one of the new sustainable-powered engines to show just how unnecessary modern day propulsion engines are and also offer an exciting alternative.

Fueled by nuclear thorium lasers, this engine only needs 8 grams of fuels every 100 years. Charles Stevens, the CEO and chairman of the Connecticut-based company, claims that one gram of thorium yields the energy of 7,500 gallons of gasoline.  Harnessed by heating the energy from an external source, the energy becomes so dense the molecules produce heat. A vehicle that needs refilling once a lifetime.

It seems many countries and military agencies have been experimenting with this type of energy to power vehicles for a number of years. And now with designs to create a car for the public, those who find their gasoline budget a sensitive topic may find relief in this model.

This car is amazing, but the safety aspects must be considered. It will be publically introduced only after finding it completely safe for road.
    Good Report, Humaid.

WOW! Amazingly eco friendly car. It looks sleek and elegant as well.
As Christy too said , these kind of electrically powered cars carry potential dangers with them. Scientists need to research more to make these safe and more affordable. Thanks for sharing , Humaid.

@Humaid- Stunning stylish car and more than that it is completely emission free, turbine free and is electricity generated :) For now these sorts of vehicles are expensive and out of reach of layman. Hopefully when the green market rules the world it will be within the budget of layman.

Wow! It is elating to note that the Thorium car is completely emission-free, turbine-free, and is electricity generated. If it were only economically-efficient and viable then many would be able to use the vehicle. But in the near future if people would use this car then we would be on a 'road to sustainability'. Thanks for the report:)

Thank you for sharing Humaid :) Cars fueled by nuclear energy or water was long aspiration of scientists. If we secure the safety(the future concept cars are very dangerous when it explode), then we can see the whole new green car industry.
