It was new information to me that the world celebrated International Day of Happiness on the 20th of March. I got the news on facebook when searching for new events.

I found a team of South Asian Youth Society (SAYS) named active citizen team had organized a event "Know Your SDGs" SDGs means Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Their admission is to set it in 2016 by world leaders with an intention of the people's urge for happier next days. According to their speech
"South Asian Youth Society"s Active Citizenship Team brings an opportunity to be a part of the global mandate that is being received on the proposed 17 Sustainable Development Goals."

It was started on 21st of Marchand I am sorry to say that they have the event till 6th of next month.

This is basically an online event, but it has got some impact on the participants. Because it is nothing but sharing idea. And a new idea may change your life.

Thanks for sharing about World Happiness Day and the team SAYS.
I agree with you that an idea can change the world. After all , let's remember that many big inventions originated from small ideas. Many a times problem is that average /common man having great idea does not get opportunity or ears to say out /express his idea. Team like SAYS play a significant role there.

One of my favorite movies ever is "V for Vendetta", I don't know if you have watched it. It really emphasizes on the power of ideas, that a simple thing like an idea can change the world. It shares the same sentiments as the organization TED which I also subscribe to.

I happen to believe in the power of an idea and am glad that the organization wants to maximize on that potential and want to take it global. However little time they have, I hope that they can make an impact as heavy as they aspire.
    Thank you for sharing :)
