The Role of Youth in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation

by | 25-10-2012 06:43 recommendations 0

After attending the COFO 21, Committee on Forestry-21st Session 2012 which was the highest FAO forestry statutory body in Rome, Italy, as a youth I began to realize that climate change was the greatest environmental challenge of the twenty-first century. Basically hunger, poverty, population growth, armed conflict, displacement, air pollution, soil degradation, desertification and deforestation are intricately intertwined with and all contribute to climate change, necessitating a comprehensive approach to a solution. As a solution of FAO, we as young people are required to build awareness in taking an active and visible role in addressing climate change and global warming.

Hi my best friends..I just wanna say " as TUNZA Ambassador, I am very grateful to Alloh and you bringing about my self to introduce green pathway of TUNZA Eco Generation in international organizations, mainly FAO of The United Nations, Nothing Ventured Nothing Gained...". For next level, InsyaAlloh I will introduce TUNZA in UNESCO-Bangkok....Hopefully i get a lot of insight and recommendation regarding TUNZA=Conservation. I realized that the meaning of TUNZA is conservation, said The Chairman of COFO, Dr. Felician Kilahama, Tanzania.... :
