Freedom Run for the Environment

Our Laguna Lake Development Authority together with other groups organized the 2012 Freedom Run last week. The event is celebrating people's freedom to run in a clean environment. The Freedom Run supports anti-corruption programs and environment issues. A part of each participant's Php50.00 (about US$1.00) registration fee will go to the continuing relief efforts of communities around the lake area that are still submerged in flood waters since the strong monsoon rains in the Philippines two months ago.
