Earth Day Celebration at Lotus Valley International School, Noida in accordance with Tunza Eco- Generation

by | 11-05-2016 00:12 recommendations 0

Hello there!

Sorry for the delay friends but I had my exams going on and thus couldn't upload the write up.

On the occasion on earth day, Lotus Valley International School, Noida organised a plethora of events to create awareness amongst the students to think differently and to act effectively upon the various environmental issues that the world faces.

The senior students had embraced the day by making green badges for the school which were to be worn by each student of the school. These badges signified the school?s commitment of being an eco friendly school and motivated students to go green.

A poster making event was also held, wherein students participated enthusiastically. The posters were beautifully crafted with flowery writings and catchy slogans. The jury was enthralled by the entries that were submitted!

An awareness campaign was organised in accordance with the poster making event. Students, who are environment enthusiasts shared their views on the topic- 'Future of Energy and how the youth can contribute to the future of energy'. This event was a great enrichment programme for the students and they learned that initiating simple steps in their daily lives can help save energy to a great extent.

The students were also made aware about Tunza Eco Generation and the promotional goods were distributed as intended.

The awareness program was attended by 150 students and 15 teachers.

Wow Nilanjan, it must have been tough to gather 150 students for the program. Badgets and posters would have made the students feel the importance of nature. Promoting Eco Generation was also a great idea! Thanks for reporting and have a great day!
