For The Love Of The Environement |

Yesterday, April 29,2017, I had one of the scariest ride of my life. I have been invited to talk in the mountains, 4 hours north of my city wherein there is an existing political unrest. I rode a military vehicle with almost 10 escorts just to get to the Youth Leadership Summit.
I have talked to 152 youth leaders from the area about the current environmental issues in the Philippines and how as young as they are they can also create a positive impact in their respective communities. I also gave a workshop and let them create their dream sustainable island. We topped it off with more marine conservation talks and initiatives. While the participants enjoyed their bonfire, I have traveled the same way I went there at almost 10 PM. It is funny what we all can do to share the message across. My love for the environment continues to push me beyond my limits as a person and makes me learn more about myself and what I'm capable of for Mother Earth. At this point, there is really no ride I wouldn't take for the love of the environment. I love this learning curve. I hope to take as many people in this ride with me. No photos were taken due to security purposes. |

Angel, thank you for your report. It must have been unforgettable, not only the summit, but also the ride :) When I see someone giving a talk to numerous people, I always wonder how that would feel like. I wish you continue with your passion.

We have to make major efforts in order to spread our environmental advocacy. Although difficult, it was a job well done to reach the 152 youth leaders up in the mountains. Ingat, Ey!
