First time i arrived here, i was impressed by this place. Even, Kuala Selangor is the nearest place between the three others (Kp. Dew in Perak, Setiu in Trengganu and Mersing in Johor), i didn,t realize that this place really interesting. When we went out from the bus, a lot of monkey like make a greet for us. It?s really nature. Same with in UKM, but here the monkey is more a lot.

Kuala Selangor Nature Park (KSNP) is one of the national park in Malaysia. It is situated at the mouth of Selangor River, in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It covers approximately 800 acres of mangroves and mudflats and is home to various animals, such as otters, monkeys, birds, mudskippers and crabs.

Ksnp established in 1987, is the first ever park managed by an NGO on behalf of the Malaysian Government. Through an ?in-situ? approach, nature education and field study centre or environmental education center were established, where various hands-on activities such as flora and fauna study, jungle trekking, and others were conducted with emphasis on the mangrove ecosystem.

It has been 5 days here in Kuala Selangor Nature Park as my project site, i got a lot of full knowledge to develop my capacity. I?ve learned about type of mangroves tree, coastal ecosystems, how to make mangroves seed, how to plant mangroves, historical story about KSNP and Kuala Selangor, etc. Hope, this knowledge could i bring when impelement project in my country.
