Hello to all...Me and my friends was a part of competition about environment. There were various options yet we chose to tackle with our local area because as i always say ??Change stats by yourself then your surrounding then spread to other places in the world. That?s why we went to the headman resolutely and got what are the serious problems in Yakac?k(where our school is) and he told us the biggest issue in here is about recyling due to the inability of recyling bins and he also pleaded us to creat a bin for clothes because people just thow their old clothes on streets but he could give them to the people who really need it so we agreed with him.We went to the school and recreated the rcying bins to take public?s attention.That was great at the begining because everyone was looking at us although they didnt throw anything in them. We sat down in a corner and waited for locals to use that bins but unfortunately no one did! However we waited about 2 hours for nothing,we didnt give up and walked through them and got their rubish,after a few minutes they started to their wastes by themselves which was a big step for us because we reached our aim Make Public Concious! We also do a survey and get the results of 41% them dont even know what rcyling is, 66% do not rcyle and 62% of them do not have rcyling bins around so bommm we provided to learn them what recyling is,made them to rcyle and recreated so many recyling bins and put them on their streets so that was the point. We got all feendbacks by municipality and learnt that the bins we put on strees are working! People are using them! We also invited them to the ??Recyling Fashion Show?? (competitors use wastes for creating new clothes) to Show them how many different things we can use wastes for !
Do not give up to prodect the environment even if it is hard to handle with people and problems.Protect nature for your future. |
