I took pictures with my own kangkong in my garden that I planted few weeks ago. Kangkong is my favorite vegetable. Kangkong is grown on a wet soil. It cannot grow on a dry wet soil. It is called water spinach in English. Its scientific name is Ipomoea Aquatica. Its stem are 2-3 metres. The origin of kangkong is unknown but it can be found in throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It contains vitamin A, B1 and C. It also contains proteins, calcium, phosphorus, iron, carotene, hentriakontan and sitosterol as well as it can cure various health disorders. There is an unwritten ?rule? that you should eat your stir-fried kangkong right away and never eat left-over kangkong the day after, because it can be poisonous for you. I plant my kangkong from seeds that I bought the seeds in a plant store. You can harvest it after 27 days .
