17th best ambassador - joshua

Dear members,

We would like to announce the Best Ambassador of the 17th Eco-generation Regional Ambassadors.

As other members commented, it was really hard to pick just ONE Ambassador to recognize because all of the Ambassadors were devoting themsleves to the awarness raising acvities for the pat six months.

Regardless of the difficulties in selection, we decided to recognize one of our Best Ambassadors.

Joshua Amponsem (Ghana)

We would like to share one of the recommendations to breif his achievements.

His passion, zeal and sincere efforts towards stimulating environmentally conscious attitude is appreciable. He uses various tools like ¡®Climate Interactive¡¯ in his work as a young environmental activist in Ghana. He has been mobilizing young people, social entrepreneurs, and universities across Ghana to experience World Climate simulations, and hence, inspiring them to take climate action. He has been rightly using his youth power to address environmental issues of today. Through his successful World Climate Simulations, he is preparing young minds to understand the urgency of climate action and commit to fighting climate change. He has been doing amazing work as Executive Director for Green Africa Youth Organization. He has been diligently promoting Tunza Eco Generation. I appreciate the way he has been conducting environment awareness sessions like the one at Lorrenel Charity School, to educate students on the 5Rs = Recycle, Reuse, Reduce, Recovery, and Refuse. His ambitious project 'One Child One Tree' is very impressive I am impressed with his tireless devotion, activities and passion which have made him World Climate ambassador. He is so so concerned and passionate about global progress on environment policies that he visited COP22 and shared with us the latest updates from ground zero. He is an active blogger promoting environmental values.

- Arushi Madan, Eco-generation Regional Ambassador to UK

A very big thank you to Tunza EcoGeneration for the support given me so far. I started my journey as ambassador in 2015 and have served well to inspire many other young environmentalists since then. I also drew inspiration from all the ambassadors and I am thankful to Arushi Madam for such a wonderful review about me. I am forever grateful to Tunza.

Wooow... Joshua has been one of my best ambassadors. If Arushi should recommend him, I bet he had really made an impact in the life of several people beyond the shores of Africa.
